32nd Annual Multi-Cultural Earth Day
This year, WorldBeat Center’s Multi-Cultural Earth Day and our theme is “Together As One”. Our food and our health are threatened by the conventional way of living, but we the people must all come together and be the solution to today’s problems.

- Live music by world music artists like Sister Carol, Rob Symeonn, Empress Akua, Mono Verde, and Josh David Barrett
- Native American drumming and blessing by Tim Red Bird and the Red Warriors
- WBC multi-cultural class showcase: Japanese Taiko Hosted by San Diego Taiko, Middle-Eastern Drumming and Belly Dance by Cairo Beats, West African Drum and Dance, and Brazilian Samba by Super Sonic Samba
- Healing Garden activities: annual Seed Swap, children’s activities like birdwatching, compost workshops, plant music showcase, and healing modalities in the garden. Also make sure to find and support our garden’s plant sale!
- Multi-cultural and Wellness vendor village
- Earth friendly informational booths
- All vegetarian vendors!
