A Reunion and Healing For Our Community
WorldBeat Cultural Center will be celebrating its 41st Annual Celebration with 4 of the 7 days of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is an African American Holiday celebrated from the 26th of December to the 1st of January. This year, December 26th, marks the 55th anniversary of the Kwanzaa holiday created by Dr. Maulana Karenga to celebrate and reaffirm family, community, and culture.
Each night will feature Special guest speakers or performers, Ceremonial candle lighting and libation with drumming, poetry readings, free heirloom seeds for families, and Karamu, the traditional feast

In addition, each day will feature Ceremonial candle lighting and libation with live Drumming Kwanzaa, Poetry reading by Johnnierenee Nia Nelson, Karamu – the traditional feast ( FREE vegetarian African American soul food).
