41st Annual Kwanzaa Celebration
A Reunion and Healing For Our Community
WorldBeat Cultural Center will be celebrating its 39th Annual Celebration with 4 of the 7 days of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is an African American Holiday celebrated from the 26th of December to the 1st of January. This year, December 26th, marks the 53rd anniversary of the Kwanzaa holiday (1966-2016) created by Dr. Maulana Karenga to celebrate and reaffirm family, community, and culture.

In addition, each day will feature Ceremonial candle lighting and libation with live Drumming Kwanzaa, Poetry reading by Johnnierenee Nia Nelson, Karamu – the traditional feast ( FREE vegetarian African American soul food).
